Private Course 1 Student: $399 total. A private course just for you, based on your schedule. Click here to tell us when you would like to start.

Private Course 3 Students: $465 total. A private course for you and two people who you know, based on your schedule. Two children 10 and under could take the place of one adult. So you could have 2 adults and 2 children. Same price.Click here to tell us when you would like to start.
Big boat Private Course for up to 6 Students: $699 total. A private course for you and up 5 people who you know, based on your schedule. This course is taught on a Beneteau 35.1, which is a much bigger boat to accommodate the larger number of people. Click here to tell us when you would like to start.
Information about the Course
Introduction to Sailing Overview
In this course, you will get familiar with a sailboat, while getting to steer the with the tiller. You’ll also learn how to trim the sheets for points of sail like close reach, beam reach and broad reach. You learn some of the terminology and a few of the rules of the road while having a lot of fun. There is no certification for this course.

Boat utilized and description – Harbor 20
The Harbor 20 is a performance day sailor with classic good looks and plenty of room in the cockpit to make it easy for a small group to learn how to sail. The mainsail is fully battened and the furling jib is self-tacking. There is an electric motor to help you get out of the marina.
Boat location – Balboa Marina, Newport Beach, CA
The boat will be docked at the Balboa Marina where our office is located. This marina has some of the best facilities and is one of the best destinations in Southern California.
